I updated my current version of Paragon NTFS For Mac To version 14.3.318 today. System model name: iMac13,2 (Mac-FC02E91DDD3FA6A4)
Kernel Extensions in process name corresponding to current thread: mdworkerĭarwin Kernel Version 15.6.0: Monday Aug20:21:34 PDT root:xnu-3248.60.11~1/RELEASE_X86_64 System Crash 5 - Sunday Septem12:43 PM - I was watching an YouTube video for about 10 minutes - then the screen froze and the system crashed & rebootedĪnonymous UUID: 2B45D950-7346-CF95-CC71-637E7E1F3EFA Unfortunately, due to a strict number of characters limited per post (here on your forum) my crash report has been significantly truncated. I look forward to hearing from you once you've had an opportunity to review my current information and decide what is the best way to resolve this issue. As you can see this made my entire system unusable. It should be noted that when one or both external hard drives were connected to a USB port with NTFS For Mac enabled, system crashes occurred at intervals of 15 minutes to half an hour after each recovery from a previous crash. Below is a copy of my latest system crash report. At this point I have the external hard drives connected to the USB ports with NTFS For Mac disabled and have not experienced any system crashes. One factor that I can verify without a doubt - as soon as NTFS For Mac is disabled through System Preferences, the system crashes stop. I’ve conducted several tests using two different brand 1TB external hard drives connected to two different side-by-side USB ports (which, by the way caused no problems whatsoever until my recent upgrade to Paragon NTFS For Mac Version 14.2.359.
It’s taken awhile to track down the cause of these crashes but I finally found what appears to be the culprit - Paragon’s NTFS For Mac Version 14.2.359. I’ve been experiencing a somewhat regular series of system crash events for the past few months. Software Application: Paragon NTFS For Mac Version 14.2.359
